Aspiring Year 9 Students visit Magdalene College, Cambridge University
We took a group of aspiring Year 9 OXBRIDGE students to Magdalene College, Cambridge University, for an informative and active day where they set personal goals, learnt about life at Cambridge, as well hearing from undergraduates and getting a tour of the grounds. It gave them a lot of food for thought regarding subject selection with their upcoming options.
Our students took part in a range of different activities which challenged them to ‘think like a university student’. Our students were giving admissions guidance and advice on which super and extra curricular activities to support a top university application.
The day ended with a delicious lunch and an amazing tour around Magdalene and Newnham Colleges.
It was a great experience for our pupils and they left feeling extremely motivated about the prospect of studying at a top university like Cambridge!
