A Summer of Success in GCSE Qualifications
All of Cassidy Smith’s GCSEs were graded 7 or above, and she is going on to study A-levels at Beal 6th form. She said, “I would like to thank my teachers for believing in me – I am finally proud of something that I have done, and I hope this will continue in to the future!”
Letizia Colombi, who achieved eight GCSEs at Grade 8 or 9 said, “Thank you to everyone who helped me achieve my results today. I’m really happy with them, and this goes to show that hard work pays off!”
She will be studying A-levels in Art, History and Languages next year.
Will Mackintosh, Principal, said, “This is the highest number of students ever at The Forest Academy who have received a full complement of top grades across their GCSEs. Achieving these top grades across such a wide range of qualifications is brilliant – the students should be very proud of themselves!
Results across the school have risen rapidly, with all national measures of performance increased significantly as well as maintaining 100% progression for our students to high quality destinations.
The Forest Academy students deserve their success – they had excellent attendance records and have worked tremendously hard during their time here. We look forward to welcoming them back to Beal 6th Form next year.”
