Outstanding team performance by the year 9 Football Team!

The year 9 Football team produced an outstanding team performance on Friday to defeat Kingsford 3-2 in a comeback victory. The boys started the game very slowly and found themslves 1-0 down after a minute.  The team then woke up and started to play some fantastic football, demonstrating skill, quality and confidence to keep the ball, which resulted in a goal for Francisco. The team went from strength and strength and dominated the rest of the game with goals coming from Marley and Francisco again. Kajus showed excellent composure and quality on the ball in midfield and Marley was a constant thrreat on the wing using his pace and quick feet to beat his opponent. Julian was awarded man of the match for displaying outstanding tenacity when defending, class and composure on the ball and led by example as captain with his constant praise, encoruagment and motivation for his teammates.
