Red Nose Day Champions League Futsal competition

Since March 10th, students from Year 8 and Year 9 have taken part in a Futsal Champions League competition to raise funds for Red Nose Day.

Nine teams participated, with a total of 45 students playing in matches held during lunchtime. Each student contributed £2, collectively raising £90 for charity. Each team had a captain responsible for collecting donations and keeping teammates informed about fixture times.

Today, a Year 9 team consisting of Kajus Abraitis, Francisco Magno, Alex Petrov, Markus Moraru, and Marley Seigekba won the tournament with a 3-1 victory in the final.

The competition was played in great spirits, with high engagement from participants and well-behaved spectators supporting from the sidelines.
