DofE Social Value Certificate
As part of Volunteers’ Week (1–7 June), we are delighted to celebrate the incredible contribution our Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) participants are making within the local community.
This year, 14 students are progressing through their Bronze Award, and 8 students are working towards their Silver Award, demonstrating outstanding commitment, resilience, and determination. In recognition of their achievements, students were recently presented with a Social Value Certificate, acknowledging the positive difference they have made through their volunteering and wider DofE activities.
The Social Value Certificate highlights the valuable contribution DofE participants make by giving their time and skills to support others. It recognises the dedication, effort, and positive impact our students have made throughout their DofE journey so far.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is a challenging and rewarding programme that encourages young people to develop essential life skills, build confidence, support their communities, and embrace new experiences. Through their volunteering, physical, skills, and expedition activities, our students have shown tremendous enthusiasm, maturity, and perseverance, successfully balancing their award commitments alongside their studies and other responsibilities.
Congratulations to all our Bronze and Silver participants on this fantastic achievement. Thank you for being such positive ambassadors for our school and for making a genuine difference in the lives of others. We look forward to celebrating your continued success as you progress through your DofE journey.
