Year 11 Football

The year 11 produced an outstanding comeback to beat Loxford 4-2 in the Redbridge plate quarter final after being 2-0 down with 20 minutes to go. After a poor start the boys turned the game on its head with 2 excellent finishes from Tyler in quick succession to level the game. The game was tight and in the last minute Tyler delivered an excellent corner and Mthobeki tapped in to put us ahead. Loxford pushed to score an equaliser but Elsi won the ball back and played through Tyler who made it 4-2 to complete his hat-trick.

Randy was awarded man of the match as he defended brilliantly against a dangerous striker. He intercepted the ball, made some great blocks and showed good composure to play out from the back.
