Medics Talk

Twenty students from years 10-13 were in attendance for our first ‘Medics’ talk featuring three guests speakers. Two of our speakers were trained GPs and one was a Radiologist. The medics chronicled their own journeys from school , through university and into medicine.

They also outlined their day to day working schedule. The guests gave insight and advice to our aspiring medics, with students remarking on how helpful they found the session. After the three presentations there was an opportunity for Q&A, which our students found to be very beneficial. We hope this will be the first of many sessions featuring various career pathways.
